Georgian Hills Vineyards
Georgian Hills Vineyards is committed to offering locally grown, unique wines. Partners Robert Ketchin, a wine marketer, and John Ardiel, a local apple grower, settled in Beaver Valley years ago with this shared dream. They researched and tested the best vineyard sites and grape varieties throughout the cool climate region of Georgian Bay. They were determined to find a dynamic wine region that would allow them to contribute to the Georgian Bay community, as well as the growing local wine and food movement. They found their perfect location in Beaver Valley. The region’s unique microclimate allows for grapes to be safely grown into unique wine styles and flavours.
You can visit Georgian Bay Vineyards today and see for yourself the blossoming vines on the hills overlooking the escarpment. Enjoy their Ida Red Frozen to the Core dessert wine, or a number of their signature apple dessert wines or ciders. Georgian Hills Vineyards is an excellent trail stop as you’re on a cycling adventure, cider-tour or family outing to a beautiful destination.
