Georgian Hills Vineyards is committed to offering locally grown, unique wines. Partners Robert Ketchin, a wine marketer, and John Ardiel, a local apple grower, settled in Beaver Valley years ago with this shared dream. They researched and tested the best vineyard sites and grape varieties throughout the cool climate region of Georgian Bay. They were determined to find a dynamic wine region that would allow them to contribute to the Georgian Bay community, as well as the growing local wine and food movement. They found their perfect location in Beaver Valley. The region’s unique microclimate allows for grapes to be safely grown into unique wine styles and flavours.

Visit Georgian Hills Vineyards today to see the home of the first-ever grape test sites in the emerging wine region of Georgian Bay and enjoy their Ida Red Frozen to the Core dessert wine, or a number of their signature ciders crafted by Ardiel Cider House.  Georgian Hills Vineyards is an excellent trail stop if you’re on a cycling adventure, cider-tour, or considering an outing for a customized wine tasting and light lunch.
