Up, down, around the Niagara Escarpment adventure awaits. Hike, bike, paddle, canoe, sip and savour your way along the Apple Pie Trail. Winter adventures are coming soon including a Snowshoe, Waterfall & Wine Tour with Free Spirit Tours and Georgian Hills Vineyard.

Scandinave Fall 2011 smallerTrained in European cuisine, local Chef Philip Tarlo invites your group to the Collingwood Cooking Academy. Here you will learn the tricks of pastry and how to make the perfect Apple Pie.

Afterwards drive 10 minutes to the award-winning Scandinave Spa* renowned for the outdoor Scandinavian Baths experience. Guests spend hours soaking while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding natural environment.

$115.00pp+tax. Includes 3 hour cooking class (including a take home apron, 3 apple pies, apple streusel and a loaf of apple bread) plus access to Spa baths, open daily until 9pm. Ages 19+ for spa access. Families welcome at Cooking School. Duration 4-6hours.

Hike to Eugenia Falls and Hogg's Falls in the Beaver Valley, then stop to sample wine from Beaver Valley's first winery at Georgian Hills Vineyards

Price: $55.00+tx. Includes pickup at local hotels, narrated transportation, (snowshoes in winter) and wine sampling.Available 1pm: Wednesday to Sunday. Duration 3 ½ hours. This adventure turns to Snowshoe, Waterfalls & Wine in the winter months.

pedal paddle the blue mountains

Self-guided, or guided pedal- sorry this adventure is now closed for the season.

Daily, subject to Gondola operating hours. Gondola is open May long weekend to Labour Day at 10am plus weekends throughout the fall.

Load your bike on the Blue Mountain Gondola* and cycle 40km through the scenic Beaver Valley orchards, trails and country roads. Stop for a picnic lunch at Blackbird Pie Co., just steps fromthe launching point for your gentle 1 hour paddle down the winding Beaver River. Return to the Village via the Georgian Trail along the shoreline of Georgian Bay.

Price: From $50pp+tx. Bike rentals & guide fees extra. Includes: map, gondola ticket, lunch, kayak or canoe rental with transportation to the launch plus a detailed map. Duration 4-6 hours. Appropriate for active kids ages 10+. Hybrid or mountain bikes. *subject to Blue Mountain Gondola operating hours, open May long weekend until Labour Day 10am.

Daily adventure May 19-October 13th.This adventure turns to Snowshoe & Wine Tasting in the winter months.

A gentle paddle down the Beaver River followed by a visit to nearby Georgian Hills Vineyards for a glass of welcome bubbly and three local wines paired with cheese.

Price: $45pp+tx. Includes 1 hour canoe or kayak trip and wine tasting. Duration 2-3 hours.
